Working closely with Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), SPT consulted on the specifications for Recycled Asphalt Shingles (RAS) initially introduced for state projects. Recycling sites in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio were established to support the needs of asphalt pavement producers.
